Today we’re presenting a preview of a really fun and original engagement shoot we did for Will and Yufei. This shoot embodied EXACTLY the kind of creative collaboration we love to have with couples.

After years of shooting, we find that our best work often happens in collaboration, when people bring us an idea that’s important to them, and we can help them realize it with photos.

That’s exactly what Will and Yufei did. They had a very strong idea that they wanted to be photographed at Ryerson University, where the two of them met in the Organic Chemistry department back in 2007. It was the place they felt most connected to, and so they were able to just totally be their relaxed, happy selves while we documented their deep connection to each other.

We’ll be posting their photos next week, but for now check out this fun animated GIF we made in one of the classrooms at Kerr Hall. Will and Yufei draw the chemical diagram for the neurotransmitter Dopamine – the chemical in our brains that allows us to feel pleasure and seek rewards. Isn’t that clever? We thought it was the cutest, nerdiest most charming thing we’d seen in a long time. We hope you feel the same!
