Parin and Sandro met in San Francisco, but their professional and academic pursuits drew them to Toronto, where they were married in August 2014 in a two-day ceremony merging Hindu and Catholic traditions. We’ll be posting those photos later in the fall, but first we wanted to share with you their very special engagement portrait session that we shot with them at their home in west Toronto, and at Trinity Bellwoods Park, probably Toronto’s hippest, most colourful urban park space. It’s one of the best places for Toronto engagement photos, with plenty of romantic settings and tons of hip, local energy.

Parin and Sandro obviously love and care for each other a great deal. It’s evident in they way they relate to each other, and in the ease of their being together. It shines through in these shots. For a great couples shoot, you don’t need a fancy location, and you don’t need to be in the hippest park in the country. All you need is love. A wedding photographer doesn’t hurt either.
