A lot of guys pop the big question on Valentine’s Day. To those of you who are recently engaged – Congratulations!
This is also the time of the year when recently engaged brides are busy planning their big day, so we’re going to be starting a regular series of blog posts about wedding planning, and how a good photographer can help you plan a complex event, and take a lot of the stress out of it. Photographers get to see the whole wedding day, from top to tails. And since most brides plan their own wedding, they end up turning to their photographers for help and advice. Since we’ve had so many of these kinds of consultations with brides, we have decided to publish our experience in a series of blog essays. We’ll be starting that series next week, so watch this space.
To start the 2016 season off right, we’re featuring one of our last engagement shoots from 2015. With Michelle and Louis we started off at the famous Queen West café Clafouti, which has some of the best coffee and croissants in Toronto. From there we took a stroll eastwards along Queen to graffiti alley, where Rick Mercer shoots many of his famous rants. We ended what was a picture perfect autumn day in Trinity Bellwoods Park as the sun set behind glowing orange, yellow and green maple trees.
Michelle and Louis were married on New Year’s Eve, and we’ll be featuring a selection of their wedding photos soon.
