Phuong and Iain’s lovely little wedding shows just what a bride can accomplish on a limited budget. Carefully chosen elements all come together here to create a very luxurious feeling, on a small scale.

Rather than inviting 100 guests, this couple kept their ceremony to just their closest friends and family. They chose the setting well. Paletta Mansion in Burlington is a hidden jewel of a venue. Not being from Burlington, we had never heard of it ourselves. But as soon as we arrived on the grounds, we said ‘wow!’ Even the early spring fog added to the haunting charm of the place.

We loved Phuong’s peony bouquet! Can you believe she got it at Fortino’s? Score one for buying your wedding flowers at the grocery store! This was one of the prettiest bouquets we shot all year. Likewise the details such as the jewelry, shoes and rings were gorgeous to behold. Add genuine, romantic love and the company of delightful people who made Julius and I feel like old, long lost friends, and it adds up to a wonderful, aesthetic experience captured in this photo essay that we share with you here. Thanks also to Lana Rae makeup from Burlington for her always stellar work.
