Happy 2015 to all of our friends and clients!

We’ve been waiting patiently to share these photos with you from Ruby and Carlo’s gorgeous, rustic, DIY wedding. The setting could not be more perfect. A perfect late May day in Vineland and Jordan Station Ontario, where Ruby prepared for their vows at the 1851 Historic House bed and breakfast, and Carlo got ready at The Coach House. Makeup was by the extraordinary Vivian Wu, with whom we’ve worked on other projects.

Vows were exchanged in a beautiful ceremony at St. Helen’s Roman Catholic Church. Notable here is the tying of a cord called a “yugal” around the couple. In the shape of a figure 8, it symbolizes the infinite nature of married love and fidelity. It’s a beautiful tradition from Philippines.

From there we spirited the bride and groom away for a photo session at Balls Falls conservation area, and then it was back to Jordan Station and Inn on the Twenty for a lovely reception where the dancing got very lively, as you can see from our previous post with all of the dancing GIF images.
